Sorry I haven't been around (to those that still occasionally visit here). I have been extremely busy with work and other obligations. Even though I've practically nixed my social calendar/everything that is INVOLVED IN MY LIFE, I still am playing this evil game of catchup/prepare/don't plan on ANYTHING happening the way you want it too for a while. I haven't forgotten my DA buds (Dem, Neoyi, and Bao! I miss you all sooo much. !)

Alice in Wonderland Teaser Trailer by Tim Burton is up on the web now. Check it out, it's amazing. I'm in love. (But of course, how could you NOT be?)

Doing artwork (just not posting anything - trust me, it's just crud sketches and stuff - nothing worth viewing). At this point, I'm kinda at a cross roads and trying to figure out what *I* want out of life and what *I* want to do. Am I happy where I am? Do I want more? Well, if the answer is no? Why not? And what do you need to do to get yourself there? (All wonderful post college questions/making you want to go BACK to college questions... and the kind that is like "Is this IT? Is this ALL I really WANT/CAN do with myself?!)

I also really REALLY need to stop being secretly jealous over friends' achievements. (And stop trying to measure myself, my work, my talent based on theirs.) It's not healthy, it's counterproductive, and I feel miserable (not only because then I feel worthless and hate my artwork/self, but I feel mega guilty for feeling jealous in the first place.. yeesh. Virgo much?)

Don't have much else to say. Enjoy what's up in the gallery now, and I'll post more (better) artwork when I can actually sit down and focus.

PS. On an upnote, I won an Orchid (Theatre Award) for Best Set Design for the set I painted/designed for Into the Woods last Summer/Fall.
