DP RealFans Manifesto

So yeah... I've been working like crazy (with lack of sleep) to get this done in time....but I'm still (as you can see) trying to clean up,ink and finish colouring a few of the panels. ^_^;;; So some of my crappy sketch/scratch work is present...it's how I 'thumbnail' when I'm trying to come up with the concept for a drawing. (before I actually DO draw the picture and clean it up.)

I am still planning on actually FINISHING this and I'll reupload etc, just that it won't be 'finished finished' by the time contest voting starts (tomorrow..today?)..and I made myself swear that I'd enter what I had no matter what. (especially since I spent a _LOT_ of time on this)

So, about the entry.

I originally planned to just do a checklist type images with doodles all over the place. Then I thought, it would be cool if there were doodles on the side that corresponded to what was being said....and then I thought, well, why not make it a multipanel thing and illustrate each concept of the manifesto? (So this is the end of that process....although I had wanted to do different versions of danny's in different styles on the sidelines or photographs or something..but I decided against this since I was already drawing SO MUCH ALREADY! *breathes*

Anyone who is in the DP fandom knows there are certain 'delicate' subjects that fans sometimes can have very drastic and strong opinions concerning. DP Real Fans pretty much follows the idea of being a fan is what counts most of all. As I was thinking of ideas for pictures, I realized that a LOT of the Danny Phantom show itself illustrated the points clearly (without me having to say...illustrate fandom 'issues' I've witnessed/seen friends go through).

1st panel: jazz encouraging danny as amity park community looks on. (with we love phantom, invisobill, ghost boy etc signs)

4th panel: This might be unclear, to explain, several different DP oc characters involved in 'fan' activities. Music, drawing, writing, and cosplay. (there are more, I just have no time/no room!

6th panel: random OC girl being inspired and talking to danny fenton and his alter ego. Behind them, several OC characters in the 'save danny chain' which is supposed to fade off behind the girl and two dannys.

Inspiration for the last panel came from 's original DP real fans ID picture.

And sixth panel illustrates 's Phandom Chain. (with I thought was a perfect example of spreading the love of being a Phan)
